Esteemed for her Mozartian ear and improvisatory prowess, pianist Jodie Levine Brown has amazed audiences since her first public recital at the age of four. She has performed solo, duo, and collaborative concerts from the U.S. Deep South to the Northeast, winning prizes from such institutions as the National Federation of Music Clubs, the New Haven Symphony Orchestra, and the Yale University School of Music. Equally versed in the pop/jazz idiom, Jodie has performed under Stan Kenton, and served as the house pianist of the Dallas Reunion Tower and the AC Tropicana Casino. Jodie’s teachers include Jonathan Zak, Vladimir Sokoloff, Daniel Sher, and Carl Cranmer.
Jodie currently maintains a large, private piano studio throughout the Greater Philadelphia Area, and is a personal trainer at The Sporting Club Main Line. She is an avid cook and gardener, and adopts retired racing greyhounds. Her favorite composer is Johannes Brahms.
